Joe Cimperman
Joe Cimperman (born circa 1970) is an American Democratic politician who serves as a member of the City Council of Cleveland Ohio, representing Ward 3. He is currently the chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee and is a member of the Community and Economic Development, Legislation and Public Parks, Property and Recreation Committees. Cimperman focuses efforts on revitalizing the community. He envisions an interconnected, diverse and self-supporting community with arts and culture serving as the center of the community and providing an engine for economic development in Cleveland.
==Early life and education==
Cimperman was born in Cleveland to a Slovenian family that was active in the city's Slovenian community located in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood on Cleveland's east-side. He graduated in 1988 from St. Ignatius High School, a Jesuit college-prep school on Cleveland's near-west side.
